2. If a plan is needed, it's paid
The architecture session or system design produce a document that's yours, whether I build it or not.
3. Development is billed by milestone
A deposit plus payments as work progresses, never everything upfront. If development starts within 30 days, the design fee is credited to the first milestone.
Diagnostic call
For anyone with a specific question or a project in mind
30 minutes over video call. No document: I give you an effort range and whether it's a fit.
Architecture session
You already have a system in production and a specific decision to make
90 minutes over video call plus a written summary of the decisions and risks discussed.
